So guess what… We actually did end up taking John to the hospital and it’s a good thing we did because he had pneumonia! He’s all better now, but he had to miss the Peterborough show… which totally sucks but guess what happened?! Steve Brogno from Down In Ashes offered to cover for him and do a few songs with us! We had so much fun and were so thankful to still have the opportunity to play. Can you believe how nice those guys are? We’re more than half-way done the tour already! It’s going by WAY too fast! The first stop on our tour was Kitchener-Waterloo and we had WAY too much fun with Chicken Man and Down In Ashes. We caught some of the fun on video so check it out! We don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say Chicken Man schooled the kids on how to really play hard on the field. Next stop was Hamilton, and it was a sick venue with a sick sound guy. We had a lot of fun. The only downer is that our drummer was really starting to get sick, (And by sick I don’t mean cool, I mean ill. And by ill I don’t mean bitchin’ I mean cough, cough sick, as in that sucks!) By the time we played in Kingston, John could barely stand up straight. Actually we’re pretty worried. Maybe we should take him to the hospital :s Poor John! Anyways, OBVIOUSLY he still played the show… and he KILLLED it. Man that guy’s a TANK! On a happier note, we’d like to thank Hearts&Mines and Down In Ashes for being such cool cats, and for being so nice and supportive! They helped us set up all our gear and tear it all down at the end of the night while John tried to take easy. We’re really stoked about Peterborough tonight, hopefully John will be feeling much better.
