We are excited to announce that we’re almost done recording a brand new record!! We’re honoured to be working with wicked-sick producer, Jon Drew (The Arkells, Tokyo Police Club, Fucked up!..) in Toronto. It’s such a kick-ass city, and although we are happy to be back home for a couple weeks, we are already starting to miss it! We’ve met and ran into so many cool people and got to work with really awesome engineers. We met Finny and got to party with Sean from the Mahones just before they left for their 9 month European Tour! WHAT?!?! YEAH!!! Plus, Merv and John got to fulfill their life long dream to meet the Hanson Brothers!
Working on this record has been such an amazing experience and the whole process has really made us feel attached to it. This time around, we were really more open to trying new things although sometimes getting what you want means getting in to trouble with the cops when trying to record highway sounds. Yup, that happened. The cop looked like Woody Harrelson which was cool, plus he was super nice and stayed to make sure that we made it over the fence safely. So anyways, we are so excited to finish this project so that we can share it with you guys! Keep checking out our facebook page for updates!
